Carolyn R. Bertozzi(Department of Chemistry and Howard Hughes Medical Institute,Stanford University)。

《ACS Central Science》
Impact Factor & CiteScore

《ACS Central Science》

《ACS Central Science》

《ACS Central Science》

Research Articles. Reports of original research focused on an individual significant finding or anadvance of immediate and lasting impact thatis of broad interesttothe scientific community. Nominimum length requirementisimposed for original submissions, noting thatfor ACS Central Science, content traditionally considered letters or rapid communications as well as full articlesall fallinto thecategory Research Articles. The Editors request authors explain their findings concisely and accurately,no more than 40,000 characters (including spaces, graphics, tables, and equations),excludingSupporting Information (Sl). Authors are encouraged to use Supporting Information as appropriate.
Outlooks (Reviews).Outlooks are invited by the Editors. Interested authors may submit proposals forOutlooks to eic@centralscience.acs.org with the subject line, "Outlook Proposal". Outlooks are topical, brief (typically 4-6 pages with a maximum length of ~25,000 characters, including spaces, graphics, tables, and equations) featured reviews that are visionary, forward-looking, accessible and of generalinterest to the broad readership of ACS Central Science.
First Reactions (Commentary). First Reactions are invited by the Editors. These are short, generalpieces (no more than 1000 words) that help relate the research articles to the world at large. TheEditors especially encourage a forward-looking view.
In Focus (Community Resources). In Focus are invited by the Editors. These are resources of broadsignificance to the chemistry community or of public interest. The formatisintended to be digestiblefor a broad audience and foster uptake and wide dissemination ofthe work to bridge communities andaccelerate scientific advancement. More information can be found in this introductory Editorial:https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acscentsci.0c00390. Interested authors may submit proposals for InFocusto eic@centralscience.acs.org with the subject line,"In Focus Proposal”. In Focus manuscriptsrequire a significance statement (60 words maximum) that details the significance of the workunderstandable to researchers outside their field of specialty.
Science/Life (Narratives).Science/Life are invited by the Editors. Science/Life manuscripts are eitherautobiographical or third person accounts of stories, lives, and anecdotes of the people behind thescience. While there are no strict length requirements, writing mustbe lively and brisk, and will besubject to both style and copy-editing. Interested authors may submit proposals for Science/Life toeic@centralscience.acs.org with the subjectline,"Science/Life Proposal on [the name of the subject orstory]".
Correspondence/Rebuttal. These papers are critical or significant remarks on previously publishedworks in the journal. Correspondence is atechnical contribution providing, with supporting material, arespectful but alternative point of view to a publication thathas appeared in ACS central Science.
